Located at the western end of the Latrobe Valley, Moe is home to the Gippsland Heritage Park, Moe Racing Club and the Moe Jazz Festival. The town offers good shopping, restaurants, a winery and sporting venues and nearby bushland and lakes provide great recreational activities for visitors. The Moe Jazz Festival is a very popular cultural event held over the long weekend in March and offers three days of jazz, food and wine. The Carlton Draft Moe Cup is held in October at the superb Moe Racing Club and is a highlight of the Latrobe Spring Carnival.
